Jared Thayer
Founder

Jared facilitates the project design and development process. A Corvallis native and lifetime Oregonian, Jared grew up in the construction industry. After obtaining a degree in English he started the business at 25. As a father and an avid reader Jared believes in the importance of education, giving back to the community, and leading with a servant’s heart.

Cheliss Thayer
CFO

Cheliss supports the administrative and accounting end of the business. As the co-founder of Thayer Construction, Cheliss works behind-the-scenes to make your project run like a clock work. When not working in the office, you’ll find her having fun using her Masters in Creative Writing and thoroughly enjoying family time with their two sons.

Natalie Temme
Interior Designer

Natalie works closely with our clients in space planning, assisting in selecting materials, and making certain your remodel ends up beautiful.  Natalie graduated from Oregon State University in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design. Since then, she has been working in the industry in the Corvallis area. When she's not in the office, you can find her in a kayak or hitting the trails for a hike.

Sammy Nguyen
Administrative Assistant

Sammy works closely with the Thayer Construction team from our office to keep projects running smoothly. She grew up in Washington, but recently moved to Corvallis to attend Oregon State University for her degree in Interior Design. Outside of work and school, you can find her relaxing with friends and family or playing volleyball.

Jeff Cedarleaf
Project Manager

Jeff is your guide through the Construction process. Throughout his 25 years of experience, Jeff has earned over 30 safety and OSHA training certificates. A detailed craftsman and highly communicative manager, Jeff makes the construction process seamless for you. Jeff is on site almost daily and is a pleasure to have working in one's home.

Sean Kringle
Carpenter

As one of Thayer Construction’s first employees, Sean remembers working from the Thayer’s home garage and office at the start of the business. Having obtained a degree in Economics, Sean is now training to be a Lead Carpenter. He’s experienced as a mover and handyman, both great assets when it comes to handling your belongings with the utmost care.

Barb Macy
Assistant Book Keeper
