Are you an interior designer looking to make a change?
Would you like to see your designs come to life by working with a residential design build firm? Are you searching for a more fulfilling workplace culture?
Thayer Construction is searching for a motivated and capable interior designer who values quality and excellence.
We’re looking for someone who is good at working with clients one on one, has experience with remodeling, and someone who is driven.
You’d need to be a type of person who is personable and creative as each client and project are different.
Working closely with another designer, the company owner, and clients, you’ll design home remodeling projects from drawings to selections. After that, you’ll then answer questions from the project managers during the build phase. Then, voila, see your beautiful work come to life while you’re working on the next project!
Why Thayer Construction?

We offer Autonomy. If you need to be managed, we’re probably not the right fit. As an integral part of the project’s design, you’ll have the trust, freedom, and responsibility to manage your own work.
We offer High Standards. If you’ve ever worked somewhere that doesn’t care about quality, but you do, you know how important this is. Both our team and our clients want to see your best.
